How They Say We are Damned
Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is the greatest sin you can ever commit… The New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) and their Charismatics counter parts (Not all) use this scripture Matthew 12:31 to muzzle you, as if you’re a rabid dog needing to be helped, or worse, put down. You ever wonder why people don’t speak up against the church in these movements more often?? One major reason is if you ever go against one of these men or women of “God”, that same individual that is so called doing “God’s” work (healing the sick and speaking life into the dead), then you have just blasphemed against the Holy spirit.
If you ever have had any doubt about these situations happening (healings, prophesies, drunk in the spirit), and you think people are not really getting healed. Then you are (in their opinion) someone worthy of death for forsaking God, maybe at best: not walking in the spirit, or maybe not even saved. They use scriptures like these to tape the mouths of others in fear they will be destined to internal damnation!!
Luke 12:8-10 Mark 3:28-30 Matthew 12:31
Though these scriptures are factual, the truth is that most believe (Including myself), that these words were spoken with the regard for the great works that Christ Himself was doing. That true blasphemy, the unforgivable sin, is that of what many of the Jews in their synagogues did. When they considered Jesus of the Devil knowing he was casting out demands and healing the sick. Considering the works He did from Hell and not from Heaven.
Mark 3:23 So He called them to Himself and said to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan? 24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end. 27 No one can enter a strong man’s house and plunder his goods, unless he first binds the strong man. And then he will plunder his house.
People questioning what these Charismatics are doing in these “white tents”, is far from blasphemous and is far from what Christ and the Apostles did. Especially when we have no proof that the people, from these modern day “Apostles/healers”, were in fact healed. Truth is, if you dig deep enough you find out that most of these things they say are lies. Read The Show: The Fake Healing’s of the Charismatic Movement
Worst of all, to so many of these people, it’s all about the bottom line. I have witnessed this myself, people lying about who has a disease so they can receive more money for donations. Even when, it is going against that person’s “said disease” wishes. You can find news reports about people faking a sickness and then giving God praise for healing. They truly believe if it helps win people to Christ then there is no reason why they can’t say or do what they want. Because people are being saved, therefore it must be of “God”.
Let Me Save You
It’s All about the Show… They don’t care if you get there with lies of wonder, or by your own admission. They just need you in the seat, while they drive the car.
The very big issue… is what “Jesus” do these people worship?? If it’s about faking the entire experience, then what spirit are you worshiping?? What spirit is causing you to repent?? They say something like “We know our experience is fake, but that persons experience is real. And that is what matters”. No, it’s not. You can’t preach a masked up false jesus and say everything is the same. That’s not our God!!
So, how is this not, what they are doing, Holy Spirit Blasphemy?? If blasphemy is speaking against the Holy Spirit, then how can lying about what the Holy Spirit is doing, not Blasphemous. How can you declare that God is moving and the Holy Spirit is healing if it’s all a show.
That is true Blasphemy… and they don’t even know it. They are shaking there fist towards God unknowingly, yet praising him with their lips. This is why I’m not even sure these people are saved. I have spoken with many of them (I was once part of this movement)… And when we talked about scripture, it was as if we knew a different Jesus. Nothing could be agreed upon. The word of God was truly absence from their life. And the only thing they cared about was the Holy Spirit. The feeling and sensations of being “more filled”?¿…
Lawlessness
So, what’s the real point to all of this?? That the lies to their congregation, out way the truth of Jesus Christ. These shows keep people coming back, and keeps so many in their seats. It creates an experience worth losing the word of God over. Because, so many want to know that God is real, they have sacrificed everything they can, within today’s church. To be fair, today’s church is far from the teachings of Christ and the Apostles. It has become an imitation of cheap thrills and short lived moments for a god I cannot explain.
