Before we start, I want to note… I believe God does, and will heal if you are sick and suffering. And that God’s will, will always be done. I do believe He can do all things, but sometimes the healing’s we seek are not always physical they are spiritual. We all want to have more life. To spend time with those that we love. Having more years on this earth without salvation is just wasted time. That’s why we need to understand, though we may be fearful of death, our life with Christ is not dependent on how many minutes were able to tick off the clock, but how often we seek Him.

With all the said as we fervently seek Christ to heal those in our life today  through prayer and supplication, and if need be, fasting and laying of hands. What if I told you, that the healing’s you saw in these white tents, held in so many Charismatic church’s today were fake?? How angry would that make you?? Would you call me blasphemous or just ignore the warning I’m about to give you??

For the truth is, that many of us are looking for signs and wonders that represent God, and that our Messiah exist. We go to the Show, or the White Tents of “offering”, so we can “see to believe”.

This is the exactly what you get when you go to these faith or prayer healers. They offer you something, an experience, that makes you feel physically connected with God. Instead of feeding you the word, which will make you whole, they feed you a sack of cheap tricks, that only will be fulfilled if you have enough faith or enough money!!

2 Cor 11:7-15

The Weak and Lost are Chosen

This is done all throughout the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) or Word of Faith movement. These leaders are like vultures that pray on the dead or weak in Christ. They do everything they can to grip/convince these people of their greatest fears: Death and an abandonment from God. These individuals see the show on stage and may think to themselves “why God are you not using me??”. “Why am I not being healed??”. These Nomads are all struggling to find their purpose with God, and the church is all to pleased to fill that void with their religion. Therefore, these lost souls put themselves in a place of vulnerability to illustrate how much they love God and are willing to sacrifice. They cry out for a supernatural revelation, yearning for something greater, just to become extremely influenced and submissive to the tricks “these leaders” play on stage.

The “lost”, submit to this false power, that is declared as Christ. They fall to the floor or they become hypnotized and slip into a euphoric state, or they start to jump around, or worse… convulse on the floor. The leaders then shout in declaring how great God is working in these peoples lives. Yet, is God working?? Or are these people unconsciously submitting themselves to the powers that are?? Is there another spirit at work here, pulling the strings??

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;… The problem people do with this scripture… is they think, if you say “depart from the faith”, it means departing from the name of Jesus. Not the case… You can praise the name of Jesus, or declare there is a way of salvation, yet not follow His word. Is that not losing faith or denying the power thereof??

Acts 16:16-18

The Frauds

To be honest, some of these healers have really good intentions, but they are all frauds (if they know it or not). Benny Hinn and Todd White are just to name a few.. Benny Hinn has been caught putting on the show. Here are links to two interviews from Date Line (Date Line NBC – Watch min 29) or (Date Line NBC)… If they, (NBC), asked for proof about the people being televised, and the infirmaries that they were being cured of, they were only able to give a slight of hand testimony of what that person told them, on how they felt and what they were cured of. There was never any real evidence or proof that the lame walked, the blind now saw, or the dead rose. If NBC wanted proof, that had to follow up with these people.. Which they did, a year or two later, and in some cases they were dead from their ailments.

One thing needs to be clear. In the time of our Lord, people knew that these Gifts or Healing’s were something greater. It was hard to deny the power or transformation that changed these peoples lives. In fact, they saw them with their own eyes. Leprosy were cleansed, and the lame did walk… Even Lazarus was brought back from the dead. John 11:1–44. The truth about healing in the Bible, just like prophesy, is… that it always happened when these men prayed or laid hands on the sick.

Jesus’ enemies didn’t deny his miracles; instead, they attributed his miraculous to the power of Satan (Matthew 12:22-24)

If these miracles were real, then the proof would be greatly evident. Instead, we have hearsay. I myself, truly believe God has healed people in my life. But, this has been done through prayer and supplication. Trusting that the Lord’s will is going to be done, because in the end we still all die. We can’t truly escape death. We try, and to be fair we should. We should try to be around those that we love as long as possible, and reach as far as we can to the unsaved.

But… When Christ healed, he was showing that He was the prophecy being foretold of. Representing, not only was He the Messiah, but giving people a taste of heaven here on earth. What it was like before the Great Fall of Adam, when sin entered the world.

The Tricks

If you haven’t seen it yet, you should. Derren Browns movies, about false Healers in this charismatic movement, on Netflix and YouTube (Miracle for sale). They are both an example of how decayed our church’s are, and how people lie to gain power. To be honest, these videos are extremely sad… I don’t sponsor this man in any way, but what he did to show people how these healers are nothing but frauds are greatly appreciated.

Through these videos, not only does he show you how these tricks are done, but he shows how much money these people can profit from the easily persuaded. Those who are looking for an eye witness account from God, because of that void they have in their life.

The Terrible, The Nasty

In the end, the church turns the blessing, or the lack there of, on the individual. Noting, that if they aren’t receiving such miracles, then that person (the sick) doesn’t have enough faith. How gross and disgusting is that. Instead of re-praying or guiding these people to the appropriate specialist, they blame them. They reinforce their insecurities of their relationship with Christ.

So, if that be the case, then just maybe, the people receiving the “healings” don’t want to feel like they are not Christians, so they go along with the show. Then they tell people how great a miracle “God” just worked in their life.

You make that person feel little, and coercing them into pretending, instead of truly helping them with their pain.

End

This is a disease of corrupt and money hungry thieves. If you want to be stronger, dive into the word and put your faith in Him.
